Accurately Measure Temperature Without a Thermowell or Process Penetration

Rosemount™ X-well™ Technology measures process temperature accurately and reliably without a thermowell or process penetration. It measures pipe and secondary temperatures, which it uses to calculate process temperature via a thermal conductivity algorithm created by Emerson, the first company to develop non-intrusive process temperature measurement.

When paired with the Rosemount™ 3144S Temperature Transmitter, you can access high temperature applications, mount the transmitter remotely or directly, and measure in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) applications.

Measure up to 650°C (1202°F)
When using Rosemount X-well Technology with the Rosemount 3144S Temperature Transmitter, you can measure process temperature in applications with temperatures up to 650°C (1202°F), allowing for non-intrusive process temperature measurements on a wider range of applications.
