Muffling Orifice reduces the generation of pressure regulator noise at its source.
It provides an economical means of attenuating high flow noise by 6 to 12 dBA. The Muffling Orifice consists of a steel plate with primary orifices to which is welded a stainless steel plate with secondary orifices. It is engineered for each individual application to maximize noise reduction without reducing regulator capacity.
